How Specialized Support Can Transform Challenges Into Strengths
If you are here because you are looking for educational support for your child, you are my village.
Like many of you, my child was diagnosed with ADHD. School, at times, was a challenge.
Being a special education teacher, I took a deep dive into the research, to better inform my teaching practices and help my students, including my own son.
In my work as an Education Therapist, I help students with diagnosed and undiagnosed learning challenges. My strengths-based approach to education therapy is underpinned by neurobehavioral strategies.
With a tailored approach designed to meet each student’s specific goals, LearningByConnecting ensures a truly personalized experience at every step, so each learner feels supported and empowered to thrive.

What is Educational Therapy?
Educational therapy is a specialized, one-on-one approach to learning support designed to help children and adults overcome academic challenges and thrive.
Unlike traditional tutoring, which focuses solely on subject-specific content, educational therapy addresses the underlying learning and executive functioning skills that influence how students approach and manage their education.
At LearningByConnecting, our holistic, hands-on approach empowers learners to transform from feeling overwhelmed to becoming confident, self-advocating individuals.
With expert guidance and structure, students can learn to effectively manage themselves so that they are equipped for taking on challenges in school or in life.
LearningByConnecting Offers:

Paying attention

Getting started (task initiation)
Staying on track
Remembering what to do and when to do it
